Patsy Tharaldsen, a kennel tech at Valencia County Animal Shelter, has been spending her Thanksgiving cooking and serving special meals to every single cat and dog at the shelter for the past seven years.
“Not to sound theatrical, but that keeps me up (at night), patients waiting 30, 40 minutes,” Propp said. “It’s not just us. It’s county wide.”
