Belen High School choir students hauled in the medals at the New Mexico Music Educators District 6 Solo / Ensemble Festival.
The 60-plus students brought home 108 Superior 1 ratings. Thirteen students received Superior 1+ Star Medals.
The students performed various styles of music, including classical, spirituals and folk music, at the competition at Moriarty High School on Feb. 23.
Josh Espinoza, Danielle Rose, Juan Diego Salazar, Nadine Torres, Brandon Parish, Daniel Varela, Doug Edwards, Chris Crosby, Cisco Salazar, Raul Najera, Edward Telles and Richard White received Superior 1+ honors.
