Bonifacio “Boni” Ulibarri Jr.
We lost our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother on Dec. 1, 2022. Boni was born in Socorro on Aug. 18, 1942, to Bonifacio Sr. and Domenica (Garcia) Ulibarri.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a hard worker and retired from Santa Fe Railroad after 27 years.
He was proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing chess and was a pretty good pool player. He volunteered at Ladera Golf Course and just enjoyed life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Rachel; daughter, Kathy Williamson (Robert); son, Brian Ulibarri (Jennifer); as well as six grandkids, Justin, Brandon, Hunter, Gabby, Elena, and Raquel; one great-grandson. Also surviving are siblings, Viola Ulibarri, Andrea Higgins (Tommy), Irene Mink (Ken) and Orlando Ulibarri (Linda).
He is preceded by his parents, brother, Roberto Ulibarri; sisters, Herlinda Chavez, Eleanor Flores and Rosella Mora.
Services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, with visitation at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
