The month of May started off with the regular scramble/meeting day on May 3. Placing first in the scramble was the team of Edie Redfearn-Moore, Marilyn Jaramillo, Cleo Wersonick, and Kathy Burrow.

The main event for May was the Eclectic Tournament which was played on May 17 and 24. First Gross winners in  the Ladies 18 division were Robin Boyd in the First Flight and Marilyn Jaramillo in the Second Flight. The overall Net Winner and Eclectic Champion was Tammie Fuller. There were no Ladies 9 players entered in the tournament.

Other First Gross winners throughout the month were Nancy Kettnacker, Redfearn-Moore, and Berta Murzyn who chalked up three wins.

The lone Ace Day winner for the month was Jaramillo in the Ladies 18 division, with no winners named in the Ladies 9 division. Saturday Ace Day play for May has been rescheduled for June.

Chip-ins were scored by Redfearn-Moore, Marilyn Winters, and two for Regina Trujillo, with one birdie being scored by Murzyn.

A special shoutout goes to Tinky Ulivarri who broke 100 on one of the play days.

The President’s Cup will be played on June 14, and Ace Day competitions will continue. Junior golfers will participate in a Junior Golf Camp on June 27th-29th, with a scramble scheduled for the 28th. WGA members will assist with the scramble on that day.
