Jarales

John and Beth Cherry will mark their silver wedding anniversary on July 15. That’s the date they were married in 1977, 25 years ago.

John is a mechanic at Cherry’s Repairs, a state-registered emergency medical technician and a member of the Jarales Fire and Rescue Department. A graduate of Belen High School, he enjoys motorcycles, racecars and his grandchildren.

Beth works for the State of New Mexico Los Lunas Community Program and is also a member of Jarales Fire and Rescue. She is a state-registered emergency medical technician and a graduate of Belen High School. She enjoys her grandchildren and reading.

The Cherrys are members of Calvary Chapel of the Rio Grande Valley.

They are the parents of Shannon Cherry and wife, Joy, of Jarales; Leasen Cherry of Rio Communities and Brandi Cherry of Jarales. Shannon is a paramedic for Albuquerque Ambulance, Leason is a student at the University of New Mexico and Brandi attends New Mexico State University.

They have three grandchildren, Tylor, Christian and Grace.

A celebration will be given by their children at the Jarales Fire Station on July 13.

Among their relatives and friends they thanked were Joel and Faye Hughes, John and Rae Cherry, David and Barbara Evans, Tom and Brenda Bennett and Jim, Suzie and Heather.
