Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission’s Fiesta Mass will be held at 5:30, Thursday, Dec. 12, at the church in Los Chavez. Matachines de Belen will dance during the Mass. A reception will follow.
Christmas Cantata to be held at First Baptist Church Belen

The First Baptist Church Belen will hold its Christmas Cantata, “Mary Did You Know?” at 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, at at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 15.
First Methodist Church to hold annual its Christmas Extravaganza

First Methodist Church, 75 Manzano Expressway in Rio Communities, presents its Christmas Extravaganza at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14. Tickets are $12.50 per seat. There will be strings, marimbas and more. For tickets, call 864-7248 or 864-6095.
Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church Nativity Walk

There will be a free Nativity Walk from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church, 25 Wesley Rd., Peralta. A wide variety of nativity scenes will be on display from all around the world, and there will be activities for the children and refreshments for everyone.
Sagebrush Church to hold its holiday craft show

A holiday craft show at Sagebrush Church will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at Los Lunas High School, 1776 Emilio Lopez Road, Los Lunas. There will be crafts, food, shopping, fellowship and hear the true meaning of Christmas. Plus, a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America will be held at Peralta Cemetery and will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, with 60 seconds of silence, which is a nation-wide event. The ceremony will include recognition of each individual branch of military service, which will be represented by a active-duty military member. Not only will deceased veterans be honored but also living military members as well.
A musical presentation at Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church

The choir at Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church, 25 Wesley Road, Peralta, will present “The Thrill of Hope,” a musical presentation, at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 15, in the sanctuary.
Bosque Farms First Baptist Choir to present a Cantata

Bosque Farms First Baptist Choir will present a Cantata titled “Seekers of the Light,” at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 15. A potluck dinner and pie auction will follow the service.

Christmas luncheon to be held at Bosque Farms First Baptist Church

A catered senior Christmas luncheon will be held at noon, Wednesday, Dec. 18, in the Fellowship Hall at the Bosque Farms First Baptist Church. A Christmas carol sing, Santa and a gift exchange will occur.

“Sacred Nocturne,” a service designed to bring rest and peace and healing to anyone who is hurting at this time of year, will be held at 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 22, at Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church, 25 Wesley Road, Peralta. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend the service, which will be held in the sanctuary.
Posadas to be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church

Posadas will be celebrated on at 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 22, at Cristo Rey in Bosque. They will then continue onto San Francisco Xavier in Jarales, then San Isidro in Pueblitos, then to Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe in Los Chavez, and finally to Our Lady of Belen. Refreshments will be provided in the OLB Parish Center at the conclusion of the Posadas.
Christmas Eve Services at Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church

Christmas Mass schedule at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church

Wednesday, Dec. 25, is Christmas Day and is a Holy Day of Obligation. On Tuesday, Dec. 24, Christmas Mass at Our Lady of Belen will be at 5 p.m., and Mass at Cristo Rey Mission in Bosque at 8:30 p.m.

On Christmas Day, Wednesday, Dec. 25, all Masses are at Our Lady of Belen, beginning with Midnight Mass at 12 a.m., and at 8 a.m. (Spanish/English) and 10 a.m. (there will not be a noon Mass).
