Belen High School and girls basketball head coach Chris Storey have parted ways after three seasons.

“We thank Chris Storey for his three years with the program,” Belen Athletic Director Joshua Grine told the News-Bulletin.

“We look forward to moving our girls basketball program forward at a championship level and being competitive each night.”

Storey spent three seasons at the helm of the Lady Eagles program. Storey, who was hired in June 2019, led the Eagles to a 1 and 25 record this season, with their only win coming over Cobre. He finishes with a 6-57 record overall.

Requests for comment from the News-Bulletin from Coach Storey were not returned.
