The country sound of Sonny Burgess is coming to Albuquerque as the singer appears at Cowboys from March 6 to 9.
Show times are at 8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
Burgess has been recognized by Country Weekly Magazine as a talented rookie who just might become tomorrow’s marquee name, a news release said.
Maintaining the momentum of his title track, “When in Texas” — which peaked at No. 2 on the Best in Texas charts — Burgess kicks off the year with his first national release, “It Must Have Been Something I said.” It, too, has landed at the No. 2 spot on the Texas chart.
