The Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts is currently displaying its sixth annual Juried Valencia County Student Art Show, “Expressions of New Mexico.”

More than 475 students entered, and 325 were juried into the show. This was the first year TACL students (special needs) entered the show. The winners, include:

High School

Best of Show: Isabel Otero, “La Vida En Rio Grande” Los Lunas High School; first place, Taylor Wright, “Enchanted Landscape,” Belen High School; second place, Kelsie Finch, “Train Rider,” Belen High School; third place, Ashlena Burningham, “Rancho De Taos Mission,” Belen High School; Honorable Mention, Natasha Neet, “Desert Flower,” New Mexico Virtual School; Staff Award, Sydnee Wall, “Abused,” Los Lunas High School; Creative Award, Victoria Aguilera, “A Unique Sunrise,” Belen High School.

Middle School

Kendra Delgado, a student at Valencia Middle School, won Best of Show in the middle school category in the Los Museum of Heritage and Arts annual Juried Valencia County Student Art Show with her painting “Panther Onca.”
