The Valencia Soil and Water Conservation District is accepting applications for the Dan Goodman Soil and Water Conservation and Environmental Improvement Award.
This annual scholarship is available to any actively enrolled high school student in Valencia County or lives within the boundaries of the district.
Students in grades 9 through 12, who are active in any conservation and/or environmental issues including past and ongoing projects in these areas are encouraged to apply.
Past recipients of the Dan Goodman Award can apply again, with a maximum of two awards per applicant. Students who have applied before but did not receive the award are eligible to reapply.
