Sud-Chemie Performance Packaging is hosting an Educational Information Fair from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, July 15, in the training room of the plant at 101 Christine Road in the Rio Grande Industrial Park.

Representatives will be on hand from regional institutions to provide facts about educational opportunities for adults.

Valencia County residents may visit with representatives from the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus, National American University, Phoenix University and Albuquerque Technical-Vocational Institute.

There will be information available about the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) training programs currently underway.

NCCER offers training in maintenance, sheet metal work, auto and diesel mechanics and other technical trades.

The program is sponsored locally by the Valencia County Hispano Chamber of Commerce and is now presenting classes through at least three county employers, including Sud-Chemie Performance, Sisneros Brothers and Avonite.
