One of today’s hottest musical stars, Enrique Iglesias, returns to the stage this fall for his “Don’t Turn Off The Lights Tour.”

He will be in Albuquerque at Tingley Coliseum on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

The 26-year-old international singer-songwriter will perform songs from his latest album, “Escape,” including the hit single “Hero,” as well as music from his new album “Quizas,” which will be out by September.

Iglesias has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, 17 million in Spanish. He has produced 13 No. 1 singles on the Latin Chart and has had several No. 1 singles on the Billboard’s Hot 100 list, creating a global success that has landed him awards including a Grammy, 1996 Billboard’s Artist of the Year, Billboard’s Album of the Year for Vivir, three American Music Awards, a World Music Award and eight Premios Lo Nuestro awards.

“Escape” is certified triple platinum and has sold more than 7 million copies worldwide. Now anxious to unveil to the world yet another sultry, upbeat album, Iglesias releases his first all-Spanish album since 1998’s multi-platinum “Cosas Del Amor” on Sept. 17. The album’s first single, “Mentiroso” (“Liar”), is predicted to become the hottest romantic bolero to hit the airwaves. “The language and imagery is less direct,” says Enrique about his new album, “the melodies and rhythms are intricate; it has been great to record an entire record in Spanish again. My fans have been by my side throughout my journey, and I hope they will enjoy taking this step with me.”

Tickets for Enrique Iglesias with special guests Paulina Rubio and SOLUNA are priced at $55, $40 and $25. Tickets can be bought online through CC.com, charged by phone at 505-883-7800 or purchased at any Ticketmaster outlet.
