Tomé Art Gallery will not be holding its annual Soup R Bowl event this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic; however, you can still buy a bowl and support art scholarships at UNM-Valencia. Tomé Art Gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, and by appointment. Call 866-0582.
N.M. Navy virtual presentation
The Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts will host a virtual presentation, “New Mexico Navy,” by local historian and author John Taylor, at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, on the museum’s Facebook page. The presentation will run for a few weeks.
Love of art
Celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend on Becker Avenue in Belen. From 12-5 p.m., Feb. 11-13, The GRID Gallery will display a “pop-up” exhibition inside Jaramillo Wine Tasting Room, 114 Becker Ave. The exhibition will feature new work by local artists. In celebration, Jaramillo Wine Tasting Room will offer a premium red wine sale. At Through the Flower Art Space, 107 Becker Ave., will be open for private tours of “CONFINED,” an exhibition showing new work by Judy Chicago with photographs by Donald Woodman (call 503-1955 to reserve an appointment time in advance).
