Art Show
The Los Lunas Museum of Heritage & Arts is hosting an art exhibit featuring Laura Sanchez, who has been drawing and painting for most of her life. She earned a B.A. in Studio Art from UNM and about 95 percent of a master’s degree in art history and criticism.
Last fall, a portrait she submitted won Best of Show, leading to her current one-person exhibit, “Faces, Places and Unsolved Cases,” which opens Saturday, June 17, with a reception from 2-4 p.m.
The show will be up until Saturday, July 22. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday through Tuesday.
