Local history lecture series: Daniel Fernandez

The Valencia County Historical Society is presenting a monthly, free local history lecture series at The University of New Mexico-Valencia campus Workforce Training Center, 1020 Huning Ranch Road, Los Lunas.

This month’s lecture is 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, May 4: “Who was Daniel Fernandez,” presented by Cynthia Shetter

To get to the WTC, from Main Street turn south on Huning Ranch Loop SW at the stop light. Continue driving south, crossing Sundance and Lonestar streets. The Workforce Training Center is on the right, across the street from La Vida Felicidad.
