Memorial Day event (Tomé)

A Memorial Day event will be held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, May 29, at the Thomé Dominguez Community Center, 2933 N.M. 47, in Tomé. The Valencia High School ROTC students will post the colors, and there will be a presentation of the history of Memorial Day, a flag presentation, a reading of the significance of each fold of the flag, and playing of “Taps.”

Lunch will be served following the event.
