Town of Tomé Land Grant scholarship

The Town of Tomé Land Grant is offering five, $500 Jose P. and Epifania Sanchez Memorial Scholarships. Applicants are asked to send in a statement expressing their educational goals and how the scholarship will help them meet those goals; must be enrolled or plan to enroll as a full-time student.

Full-time in defined as 12 credit hours; preference will be giving to land grant heirs and/or residents of the N.M. 47 corridor, which includes the communities of Tomé, Adelino and La Costancia; must have a 2.5 GPA (high school and/or current collect GPA, transcripts required); and one letter of recommendation.

The deadline to apply is Thursday, Aug. 31.
