LOS LUNAS — Los Lunas’ lone senior from this past volleyball season, Kyleigh Fleshman, signed her national letter of intent last week at the high school.

Fleshman signed to play volleyball with New Mexico Highlands beginning in the fall of this year.

“I am really excited about this opportunity,” Fleshman told the News-Bulletin after she signed. “I feel like Los Lunas High School has prepared me well, and I am looking forward to the fall.”

Fleshman played in 72 sets this past season, and recorded 143 kills and 44 total blocks in helping lead the Tigers to a 17-9 record and a district 5-5A Championship.

Fleshman plans to study criminology at Highlands.
