Frank and Lupe Garcia, of Los Lunas, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on April 7, 1972, in Belen.
Frank, a 1965 Belen High School graduate, is a retired contractor. He enjoys walking, drinking coffee with friends and watching “Wheel of Fortune.”
Lupe, a 1969 graduate of Los Lunas High School, is a secretary at her alma mater. She enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends and also watching “Wheel of Fortune.”
The couple are members at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta.
Their children are Jennifer Gaerlan and her husband, Art; Jessica Williams and her husband, Julian; and Brenda Flores. They have 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Frank and Lupe will be celebrating their golden wedding anniversary alongside family and friends at a special celebration hosted by their children and grandchildren. There, Lupe and Frank will renew their vows, and celebrate the many memories they have made along their journey to 50 years of marriage.
Frank and Lupe are very grateful for all the family and many friends who have been part of their lives. They thank God each and every day for the love they have in their lives.
