It’s cookie time!

Girl Scouts of the Chaparral Council will be out in force with booth sales of their famous cookies from March 1 to 17.

Proceeds from the cookie sale help support local Girl Scouts in many ways, including providing programs, supplying materials and conducting summer camp.

This year, there are two new cookies to tempt your taste buds: Olé Olé and All Abouts, a commemorative cookie helping to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Girl Scouting.

The council serves 6,000 girls and 2,000 adults in New Mexico and southwestern Colorado. Chaparral Council is focused on meeting the needs of each girl by providing a program of experiences, based on the Girl Scout Promise and Law, for girls between 5 and 17 years old.
