Lori Anne House became the bride of Robert William Lake III in a double-ring wedding on Sept. 29 at the Tierra del Sol Country Club in Rio Communities.

The bride is the daughter of David and Virginia House of Elephant Butte and the groom is the son of Daryl and Jeannie Burleson of Belen and the late Robert W. Lake.

Bob Davis officiated at the wedding, while disc jockey Jeremy Jaramillo provided the music.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride, clad in a traditional white gown and veil, carried a bouquet of white and lilac calla lilies and roses.

The groom wore a traditional black tuxedo.

The bride’s sister, Karen House of Albuquerque, was maid of honor, and the groom’s sister, Joan Castillo of Las Cruces, was matron of honor.

Best man was Adrian Chacon of Albuquerque, and groomsman was the groom’s cousin, Michael Sherwood, of Albuquerque.

A reception was held at the country club, with music by Jeremy Jaramillo.

The bride is a graduate of New Mexico State University and works as a certified public accountant for Burt and Nagel CPAs in Albuquerque.

The groom is a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University who is employed as a juvenile probation officer for the State of New Mexico.

The couple, who were high school sweethearts, graduated in the Class of 1992.

After a wedding trip to San Diego, Calif., the couple will make their home in Albuquerque.
