Belen
A June 8 wedding at the Crowne Plaza Pyramid in Albuquerque is being planned by Cynthia Louise Jaramillo and Juan Diego Chavez, whose engagement has recently been announced.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Michael and Kathy Jaramillo of Belen. She is a 2000 graduate of Belen High School who is attending the University of New Mexico Robert O. Anderson School of Management. She will graduate in December, 2003, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and finance.
She is a member of Christian Faith Chapel in Belen, of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, vice president in charge of publicity for the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting and is in the UNM Honors Program.
She is employed as a teller at Ranchers Bank’s South Valley branch.
Her fiance is the son of Tibo and Kristine Chavez of Belen. A 1999 graduate of Belen High School, he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, with a minor in mathematics at the University of New Mexico. He will graduate in December, 2003.
He is a member of Christian Faith Chapel in Belen and works as an assistant chemist at Red Sky Plating.
The couple plans to honeymoon in Tahiti.
