Jason Ben Marquez, age 33, of resident of Los Chavez, was called home on Saturday, April 9, 2022.

He was a member of the Local 1319 Carpenters’ Union. Jason loved being on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and in the mountains camping with his wife. Jason loved fishing with his niece and nephew, Myla and Mateo. Jason loved being around and in the company of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his nana, Carmen Marquez; his great-grandmother, Tillie Silva; and his uncles, Randy Silva and Rodney Hircshfeld.

Jason was born to Glenn and Sophia Marquez on Aug. 5, 1988.

Jason is survived by his wife, the love of his life for seven years, Bobbie; his stepdaughter, Tione; stepsons, Kaharie and Elijah; his siblings, Marie, Jr., Kevin and Marissa, Geraldine, Angela and Joseph, Adam and Kayla, Eric and Mariana; his nieces, Mona, Mareena, Myla, Dharma and Sierra; and his nephew, Mateo.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Thursday, April 21, beginning with a visitation at 9 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 9:30 a.m., and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Tomé Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Chavez, Ray Lovato, Adam Sanchez, Pablo Martinez, Vincente Marquez and Renee Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Mateo Marquez, Kevin Grion, Pedro Padilla and Keith Hircshfeld.
