NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the public and all parties of interest that the Belen Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing to hear a REQUEST FOR Zone designation change from R-2 multi-family to R-3 with 3 duplexes on 3 lots this zone is to allow for a medium density residential district with small lots for multiple or single-family dwelling units in order to provide affordable housing of conventional construction. Request to incorporate an SU-1 overlay to allow minimum dwelling area from 3,500 to 3000 sq ft. lots.

You are further notified that this public hearing will be held on Monday, April 12thth, 2021 at 6:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 100 South Main Street, Belen, New Mexico 87002.
Any person having objections or wishing to be heard should make such protest to the Commission at the above stated date and time or write comments to the Planning and Zoning Commission, 100 South Main Street, Belen, New Mexico 87002.
