Katherine Lindenmuth, of Bosque Farms, improved to 3-1 as a professional boxer with a split decision victory over Lorraine Villalobos on Thursday, Feb. 23, in California.

“It was high energy, something different. I wasn’t used to it,” Lindenmuth said of the Golden Boy Promotion fight card.  “Cameras followed you everywhere — it was super cool.”

Lindenmuth was surprised the decision wasn’t unanimous.

“I did what I came to do — inflict damage,” she said.

Lindenmuth is set to fight again April 8 at the Embassy Suites in Albuquerque.
