Man suspected of robbing Los Lunas Subway

The Los Lunas Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a Los Lunas Subway at 1620 Main Street. 

Los Lunas officers responded to the Subway on Monday, Feb. 28, after a male suspect robbed the employee at knife point. The employee was not injured during the robbery.

The subject was given an undisclosed amount of money, along with personal property from the employee. The robbery suspect demanded the employee surrender his vehicle keys during the incident. 

The suspect fled the scene in the employee’s stolen vehicle, a white 1997 Nissan Altima, with a New Mexico license plate of PCL835. 

The suspect was dressed in dark colored pants, gray zip hoodie, black backpack, white tennis shoes, a yellow and black hat and a black mask.
