Lolly Silva

Lolly Silva, a resident of Belen, passed away on Aug. 13, 2022, surrounded by her beautiful family.

She was a devout Catholic at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Lolly’s faith was unshakable, and even at the hour of her passing, we witnessed her trust in Jesus Christ.

She was an icon at Buckland Pharmacy, where she worked for 50 years and enjoyed every minute of her time there.

Lolly is preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Manuelita Sanchez; mother and father-in-law, Rose and Steven Gutierrez; siblings, Cordy Mares, Mary Sanchez (Herman), Jose Amado Sanchez (Charlotte), Eloisa Sanchez (Celso), Lourdes Baca, Annie Carrillo (Pat) and Gilbert Sanchez; and sister-in-law, Nellie Sanchez.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Roddy Silva; daughters, Frances Silva and Renee Casias (William); grandchildren, Amanda Alvarez (Carlos), Vanessa Montoya (Nelson) and Travis and Savannah Casias; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Lucy Gabaldon (Fidel); brother, Frank; brothers-in-law, Henry Gutierrez (Bebe), Sylvestre Baca and Orlando Mares; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Sanchez.

All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Monday, Aug. 22, with a public viewing to be held at 6 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.

There will be a final viewing at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 23, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be William, Travis and Savannah Casias, Carlos and Amanda Alvarez, Nelson and Vanessa Montoya, and Chris and Matthew Alvarez.
