Margaret Elizabeth Harris Coombs
Our Lord came and took our mom, grandma, great-grandma, aunt and friend, Margaret, away unexpectedly on Sept. 12, 2022, just missing her 85th birthday on Sept. 19, 1937.
She graduated from Albuquerque High School. Margaret was one of five generations of Irish New Mexicans born, raised and lived a lifetime in New Mexico.
She worked in and retired from the medical field for more than 45 years. Thereafter, she worked many years as the meal site director at the Meadow Lake Senior Center.
She loved her children, but her grandsons were the apples of her eye.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Ray Coombs; her parents, Nellie and Charlie Harris; sisters, Sharlene Harris Tapia and Sharon Harris Rascon; and her son-in-law, Bud Viviani.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Viviani; son, Ramond Coombs; grandsons, Sean Viviani and Derek Viviani; great-grandsons, Sean Henry Viviani, Ezekiel Viviani and Phillip Vaisa; nieces, Felicia Baca, Melissa Garcia, Connie Herring, James Herring and Sherryann Rascon.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Noblin Chapel Belen.
