Businesses and organizations in New Mexico are eligible to apply for 2002 New Mexico Quality Awards: Pinon and Roadrunner Recognition and the New Mexico Zia Award for Performance Excellence. Intent to apply forms are due on June 10; the applications are due on Aug. 5.

Applicants for New Mexico Quality Awards will have their performance measured on:

  • Key business results, including customer, financial and human resources.
  • How senior leaders guide their organizations and how they review organizational performance.
  • How organizations determine requirements, expectations, and preferences, of customers and markets.
  • How organizations motivate and enable employees to develop and utilize their full potential in alignment with the organizations’ overall objectives and strategic plans.
