We announce the graduation to heaven of Newell Newlin. Newt passed peacefully in the company of family.
Newt was born in Parma, Mo. His family farmed cotton and soybeans, moving every two years with his five sisters and one brother.
Newt was a man of many hats. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as a captain from the U.S .Border Patrol after 25 years of service. One thing he tried to impart to everyone he knew was that we are all responsible for our own actions.
Newt married Doris, his wife of 60 years, on Feb. 10, 1962. Together they have three children, eight grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. He loved every one of us, and we all love him and are blessed to have had him in our lives.
