Nickolas T. Aragon
Nickolas T. Aragon, age 69, a resident of Los Lunas, passed on Oct. 2, 2022, following an illness.
He was born on July 19, 1953, in Cuervo, N.M., to the home of Nicolas and Beatrice Salas Aragon.
Services will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church on Tuesday, Oct. 11, with a public viewing at 8:30 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. A celebration of life will begin at 10 a.m., with Internment to follow at Los Lentes Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ruben Aguilar, Elias Cardenas, Ryan Aragon, Dan Garcia, Jonathon Varela, Tyler Reid, Vicente Baca and Nicholas Aragon.
Nickolas graduated from Santa Rosa High School, and made his forever home in Los Lunas. He played basketball for the Santa Rosa Lions. Nickolas enjoyed gardening, going for wood and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas and Beatrice Aragon; brothers, Phillip Aragon and Joe Henry Trujillo; and his beloved sister, Ruth Cline.
Nickolas is survived by his wife, Priscilla Aragon; two sons, Mayo Aragon, of Albuquerque, and Ruben Aguilar (Hope), of Los Lunas; his daughter, Samantha Cardenas (Hector), of Rio Rancho; brother, Ray Aragon, of Los Lunas; sisters, Angie Baca, of Amarillo, Texas, Lenora Flores, of Mesa, Ariz., Lucille Baca (Victor), of Santa Rosa, Madelyn and Fay Aragon, of Los Lunas, Mary Chavez, of Los Chavez, and Pauline Aragon, of Albuquerque; and his grandchildren, Emily and Tyler, of Albuquerque, Elias and Ariana, of Rio Rancho, Ruben and Faith, of Los Lunas; numerous nieces and nephews, along with a host of family and friends.
