Lorina T. Gutierrez

Lorina T. Gutierrez, age 72, a resident of Belen, passed away on June 13, 2019.

She was a 1965 graduate of Belen High School and received her associate degree from UNM in 1997. Lorina worked as a substitute teacher for Belen and Los Lunas schools.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Lorina was full of life and she loved her family, loved life and had a strong faith in the Lord. She brought joy and laughter to those around her.

Lorina is preceded in death by her parents, Lotario and Josefita Jaramillo.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony, and David and wife, Jackie Gutierrez; grandchildren, Racquel, David Jr. and Mila Gutierrez; brothers, Richard, Joe, Frank and Tony; and sister, Liz Jaramillo.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 22, at Abundant Life Christian Center in Rio Communities. Interment will follow at Casa Colorada Catholic Cemetery.

Helena White

Helena White, age 85, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019.

She was a strongly devoted member of San Clemente Catholic Church.

Helena was preceded in death by her husband, John White; parents, Michael and Teresa Chairez Kelovich; and brothers, Ernest, Rudy and Jim.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Kelovich; nieces, Kathy, Karen and Gina; and nephews, Paul and David Ortega.

Services were held at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas on Tuesday, June 18. Interment followed at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque.

Pallbearers were Frank Brown, Matthew Chavez, Joe Gonzales, Lito Chavez, Rigo Ollivas and Jorge Tarrango.

In lieu of flowers, Helena’s wish was to please make donations to the San Clemente Building Fund.

Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Los Lunas Chapel, 2211-D Main St., 866-9992.
