Andrez Apodaca, age 28, a resident of Peralta, and formerly of Tucumcari, entered his eternal home on Friday, June 7, 2019.
He is a 2008 graduate of Tucumcari High School, where he played sports and excelled in academics. After moving to Albuquerque, he attended UNM, and worked for Outback Steakhouse on Coors NW.
Andrez is preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Apodaca; paternal grandparents, Juan and Mary Apodaca, all of Tucumcari.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Robin Martinez; sister, Janice Apodaca; brother, Antonio Apodaca; grandparents, Steven Martinez (partner, Genevieve) and Maryann (Albert) Salas; uncles and aunts, Estevan (Victoria) Martinez, Jason Martinez and Randy Martinez, Margie (Lacho) Garcia, and Clara (Gilbert) Montano; special cousin, Gary (Debbie) Montano; and honorary aunt, Mercie Apodaca-Aragon; nieces and nephews, Jaxon, Nicholas, Azariah, Amaria and Uriah Andrez; and he also leaves behind a host of numerous great uncles, aunts, cousins and wonderful friends.
All services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish on Monday, June 17, beginning with a public viewing at 9 a.m., a Rosary to be recited at 10 a.m., a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., and interment will follow.
Pallbearers will be his step-grandfather, Albert Salas; lifelong best friends, Ryan Fought and Michael Fazekas; uncle, Randy Martinez; cousins, Esteban III, Joseph Martinez and Jessey Baca.

Marcos Betancourt, age 44, a resident of Belen, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019.
He was born on May 1, 1975, to parents, Ana Maria and Margarito Betancourt Sr., and grew up in Fallbrook, Calif. Marcos was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle. His family was his whole world.
Marcos was employed by Wall Colmoney for two years. He loved taking road trips, watching his children play baseball and being involved with Boy/Girl Scouts activities with his wife, Tracie.
Marcos enjoyed attending Comic Cons and was a Disneyland fanatic. He also enjoyed the Marvel movies and was a huge fan of the “Star Wars” trilogy.
Marcos will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Marcos is preceded in death by his grandparents, Evangelina and Manuel Ayala, and Vicente and Maria R. Betancourt.
He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Tracie Betancourt; children, Mariana V., Daniel J. and Maxamiliano N.V. Betancourt; parents, Ana Maria and Margarito Betancourt Sr.; siblings, Nancy Lovato and (Norman), Emma Betancourt, Adrian Betancourt and (Leti), Margarito Betancourt Jr., and Carolina Betancourt and Jonathan Flores, Laura Garcia and Betty Reyna; nieces and nephews, AJ Betancourt, Adrian Betancourt Jr., Iliana Betancourt, Christopher Betancourt, Erica Torres (Felipe), Javier Solorio Jr., Michael Lovato, Patricia Lovato, Victor Maciel (Sarah), ), KC Dudley (Amber), Johnathan Dudley, Aleigha and Maya Dudley, Mark, Mari and Ryan Boroff.
All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, on Friday, June 14. A visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m., and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. A reception will follow services at Our Lady of Belen Parish Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
Pallbearers are Margarito Betancourt Jr., Adrian Betancourt, Norman Lovato and Aaron Simpson. Honorary pallbearers will be Margarito Betancourt Sr., Daniel Simpson, Samuel Mustache, Victor Maciel, Jr. Solorio, Michael Lovato, Adrian Betancourt Jr., AJ Betancourt, Christopher Betancourt, Daniel Betancourt and Maximiliano Betancourt.

Clorinda T. Carabajal, age 60, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2019.
All services will take place at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Thursday, June 13, 2019, beginning with a visitation at 8:30 a.m., a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. and a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.

Delford F. Riggle
Delford F. Riggle, 82, a resident of Belen, passed away on May 28, 2019.
Delford was born on April 1, 1937. He was a proud 20-year veteran of the United States Army. Delford also worked as a correctional officer at the Central New Mexico Correctional Facility in Los Lunas for 30 years, where he was well-respected and liked by his co-workers.
He was married to the love of his life, Eleonore Riggle, for 56 years. They raised one son and were able to travel to beautiful places while he served in the Army.
He is survived by his wife, Eleonore Riggle; son, Oskar W. Riggle and his wife, Yolanda; his granddaughters, Nicole Michaelie and husband, Jo Tam, Sylvia Ritter and husband, Jimmy, and Mia Solovicos; three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; his sister, Bonnie Potter; and brother, Leo Riggle.
Delford was greatly loved by his family, and he loved them. He will be missed and will forever be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
A funeral service will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on a date yet to be determined.
