Ina L. Chadwick, 83, passed away Aug. 10, 2020.

She is survived by her six children, Tom, Doug (Ruth), Denise, Blaine (Karen), Glenda and Joel (Barbara); her grandchildren, Andrew (April) Chadwick, Tanya (Jason) Davis, Wesley (April) Lack, Jesse (Leah) Lack, Nicole (Abraham) Balderas, Mark Schiel, Marissa (Aaron) Schmidt, Ashlee (Tanner) Shumake, Bryan Casassa, Patrick (Cindy) Casassa, Rebecca (David) Hopkinson, Holly Chadwick and Tracy (Kenneth) Moreland, Austin Chadwick, Breanna Chadwick, Brooklyn Chadwick and John Cameron Chadwick; and 18 great grandkids.

There will be a graveside memorial at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, at Forest Lawn Cemetery Saturday in Ruidoso.

She was a loving mother and wife, and will be remembered for her love for her kids and grandchildren, inside jokes, silly stories, love for eating out, getting her hair done and shopping.

Lisa Marie Chavez

Lisa Marie Chavez, age 27, a resident of Los Chavez, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020.

She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Lisa very much enjoyed learning, whether it was through reading, movies or in person. One of her favorite past times was to watch movies with her best friend, Alesia Chavez.

She also loved music and watching “Wheel of Fortune” with her mom and dad. Lisa loved activities such as bowling, going to the zoo, the Bio Park and museum. She had a beautiful smile that would steal your heart because she lit up the room with it.

We would like to thank all her nurses, doctors, therapists, teachers, palliative care and Mariposa Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for Lisa Marie.

We also want to thank the medically fragile program, Harmony Thrive, and Children’s Home Healthcare.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Elias and Isabel Chavez and maternal grandfather, Alfonso Garcia.

Lisa is survived by her parents, Paul and Cynthia Chavez; her maternal grandmother, Henrietta Garcia; her beloved friend, Alesia Chavez and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Services will take place on Friday, Sept. 11, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church beginning with a public viewing at 8:30 a.m., a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m., a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. and interment to follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Brianna Garcia, Elianna Garcia, Marissa Mireles and Isabella Sanchez.

Betty Jean “BJ” Coker

Betty Jean “BJ” Coker, age 85, and a long time resident of Belen, passed away Aug. 28, 2020, at Bear Canyon Rehab in Albuquerque.

She will be missed as a dearly-loved mother and aunt.

Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, at the First Baptist Church in Los Chavez, and will include her sons, David Wayne Pinnick (1953-2017) and Richard Kenny Pinnick (1954-2009).

Jessie J. Eppard

Jessie J. Eppard, age 93, passed away Sept. 6, 2020.

He was born in Kidder, Mo., and was the eldest of 11 children of Jesse and Madge (Wray) Eppard.

Jessie is preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Bill, J.T. and Hershel; two sisters, Mary Kay Greetan and Dixie Eppard.

He is survived by his soulmate of almost 70 years, Judith (Wright) Eppard; two sons, Doug (Elizabeth) and Steve (Annette) Eppard; five grandchildren, Anna (Sean) Arnott, Sara (Ray) Smith, Eric Eppard and Darren (Heather) Eppard and step-grandson, Michael Lawrence; seven great-grandchildren, Morganne, Macee, Brenden, Tyler, Kennedy, Bryce and Adrianna; three brothers, Robert, Charles (Mary Lou) and Donald (Debbie) Eppard; two sisters, Betty Kirkruff and Bonnie (Jack) Gensen.

His family was his pride and joy.

Due to circumstances of the COVID-19 virus, only graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 10, at Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen.

Carolyn R. Hibdon

Carolyn R. Hibdon

Carolyn Hibdon, age 74, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020.

Carolyn, born Feb. 11, 1946, spent a good deal of her years running R2H and Associates along with her husband of 37 years, Ronald Hibdon. Carolyn loved her family more than anything.

She was preceded in passing by her daughter, Ronette Ford; her father and mother, Ralph and Rosa Fishgrab; her brothers, Merle and Dale Fishgrab, and her grandson, Eric Ford.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Hibdon; son, Troy Hibdon; her sisters, Erma Ward and Joyce Faulkner; her grandsons, Michael, Kenny and Dustin Ford, and Kevin and Ryan Hibdon, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Grave side services were held Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen, with Brother Boyd of First Baptist Church of Los Chavez presiding.

Pallbearers were Michael Ford, Kenneth Ford, Kevin Hibdon, Dustin Ford, Ryan Hibdon and Matthew Ford.
