Ruben Jaramillo
Ruben Jaramillo, age 78, a life-long resident of Belen, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, parents, Margarito and Ramona (Silva) Jaramillo; and brother, Toby Jaramillo.
Ruben is survived by his wife, Becky, of 59 years; children, Kevin and wife, Dodie, Joseph and wife, Paulette, and Lori Anne and husband, Dwayne Tafoya; grandchildren, Crystal and husband, Joshua Saiz, Ryan and wife, Luz Tafoya, Adriana Jaramillo, Leanne and husband, Dominic Ulibarri, Selina and husband, Luc Jaramillo, Jordyn Tafoya and Kevin I. Jaramillo; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Lexi, Emma Rose, Lilly, Lucy, Levi, LaRae and Luc; and extended family and friends.
Ruben was a successful business owner of Ruben Jaramillo Plumbing & Heating, serving Valencia County and the surrounding area. Ruben was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.
Thank you, Dad, for all the love you showed us, the life lessons you taught us and teaching us how to work hard. Thank you for showing us God and how to help others along the way. We will miss you Dad, Grandpa, “Popsicle.” We thank God for you and the time he allowed us to have you.
Services for Ruben took place on Wednesday, March 1, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Ruben was laid to rest at The Our Lady Belen Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Ryan Tafoya, Kevin I. Jaramillo, Mathew Jaramillo, Steve Sanchez, Raymond Jaramillo, Luc Jaramillo, Leroy Torres and David Lopez. Honorary pallbearers were Mike Duenas, Steven “Hey Now” Sanchez, Dominic Ulibarri, Albert Sanchez.
Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W. Reinken Ave., 505-864-4448, where an online guest register is available at noblin.com.
