All five seniors on the Los Lunas High School baseball team earned All-District 3-5A honors this season in voting conducted by district coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own players.
Carlos Castillo and Josh Hernandez made the first team at two positions: Castillo as a catcher and pitcher, and Hernandez as a shortshop and pitcher. They were joined on the first team by junior Christain Rael.
James Alarcon and Travis Ferrel were selected to the second team, at first base and outfield respectively. Junior Brian Holmes also was picked to the second team, in the outfield.
Senior second baseman J.D. Garcia earned Honorable Mention along with junior shortstop Nathan Romero and sophomore outfielder Larry Sutherland.
