Do you remember singing with the radio, “You’re just too good to be true…. I can’t keep my eyes off of you?” If you do, then you’d better check your weekend schedule because Farnkie Valli will sing those exact words live on Saturday night at the Journal Pavilion. And if you think that’s too good to be true, are you in for a surprise. Joining Frankie Valli will be The Association and Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals.

I’ve known about this concert for well over a month now and can hardly wait to go see these bands live. I grew up listening and singing to the lyrics while dancing around the living room with my dad. The first thing I did when I found out that I was the one that was going to get to cover the concert was call my dad to see if he’d like to join me. Unfortunately, he couldn’t make it so I did the next best thing: I told my mom she would get to go with me instead. She was so happy. I’m sure that she never thought that her youngest daughter would be taking her to a concert featuring music from her generation. She and I have been counting down the days until the date of the concert and are hoping that it doesn’t rain. But, rain or shine, we will be there with bells on.

If you are like me and have a fascination or some connection with music from the1960s, then this is a concert that is a must-see. Who knows when you’ll get another chance like this? Hope to see you at the show!
