Victoriana “Vicky” Carlton

Vicky Carlton, 93, passed away Nov. 14, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a life -long resident of Los Lunas. She also lived in Laughlin, Nev., and Springer, N.M., for a long time. She lived a long, beautiful life filled with so many wonderful memories.

She retired after putting in 35 long years with the Los Lunas Hospital and Training School. She loved to travel, go to the casino, and spend time with all her family and grandkids. She had the best sense of humor all the way until her last day with us.

Vicky touched the lives of all who knew her, and will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorotea Saiz; father, Leonardo Saiz; son, Fidel Jaramillo, and daughters, Sefy Gonzalez and Libby Gonzalez.

She leaves behind a special granddaughter, Valerie Maestas; and husband, Ruben Maestas. They were so very good to her.

She leaves behind her many children, Corine Guiterrez, Jimmy Tafoya, Eulogio “EJ” Jaramillo, Ester Apodaca, Veronica “Beck” Bustillos and husband, Luis Bustillos, Joel Carlton and wife, Francisca Carlton, Linda Ramey, Raymer Jaramillo and wife, Nancy, Leo Jaramillo Jr. and Juanita Apodaca.

She had 41 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m., Friday Jan. 13, at Calvary Chapel in Belen, with a private burial at a later time.
