Lenders are no longer accepting Payroll Protection Program applications. They may have another round of funding, but legislation is still being debated.

Disaster loans

Economic Injury Disaster Loan Applications are still open and you can learn more by visiting sba.gov/page/disaster-loan-applications. Note that the advances of $1,000 per employee are no longer available, but you can still request a loan. These are very low interest loans, with flexible terms, administered directly through the Small Business Administration.

Recovery Loan Fund

The New Mexico Finance Authority is now accepting applications for the NM Recovery Loan Fund. Visit nmfinance.com/programs/small-business-recovery-loan-fund/ for more information or to apply.

These loans are available at very low interest, and are available to those businesses that can prove a 30 percent decline in sales in April and May 2020, compared to April and May 2019, from your federal tax return. No negative credit history, in 2019 for phone service, rent, mortgage, or utilities.
