There were many entries this spring at the Katherine Gallegos Art Fair in Los Lunas.

The Best of Show winner in each grade level is as follows:

  • Pre-kindergarten: Tabitha Townsend, Ms. Phillip’s class.
  • Kindergarten: Shea Juarez, Mrs. Coleman’s class.
  • First grade: Cheyenee Young, Mrs. Stern’s class.
  • Second grade: Phillip Christie, Mrs. Atencio’s class.
  • Third Grade: Jason Gonzales, Mrs. Peterson’s class.
  • Fourth grade: Jessica Trauernicht, Ms. Newman’s class.

Honorable mention ribbons were awarded to the following children:

  • Pre-kindergarten: Cindy Phillips, Claudia Chavez, Kasondra Stracaener, Ilan Tena, Landon Moya, Gilbert Ortiz-Chavez, Jeremey Romero, Kyle Salazar, Cassandra Tafoya and Alexis Sisneros.
  • Kindergarten, Coleman: Shae Juarez, best of show and blue ribbon; honrable mentions: Julia Martinez, Sydney Rogers, Emilie Brakes and Victor Bryant.
  • Jones: Rachel Lovato, Rebecka Vest and Cecilio Razo.
  • Reynolds: Charles Till.

First Grade
