VFW Post 9676 (Los Lunas)

Daniel D. Fernandez, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9676 will perform its annual Flag Day Retirement Ceremony at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 12, at the post home, 1201 N.M. 314 in Los Lunas. The Post war veterans will be assisted by Boy Scout from Troop 360.
If you have any worn U.S., New Mexico, POW or other organization flags that you would like to have properly retired, please contact Post Quartermaster Jack Lovato at 550-4076 or Post Commander Chet Pino at 414-0288 to set up an appointment for the Post to receive your worn flag/flags.
This year, due to the lessening of COVID-19 meeting-size and mask-wearing restrictions, the general public is invited to attend this solemn but celebratory ceremony.

VFW Post 2387 (Belen)

The Chavez-Curan VFW Post 2387 in Belen will hold a Flag Day Ceremony at 10 a.m., Monday, June 14, at the Post, 122 S. Fifth St. Members will be retiring old and damaged U.S. flags.
