Jay Torrez Memorial Scholarship

The Jay Torrez Memorial Scholarship is in honor of the amazing Jay Torrez, who grew up in Tomé. He had a career as a Hollywood stuntman, and worked on feature films, TV shows, music videos, and video games as well as stunt coordinating a few gigs of his own. This scholarship will support high school senior students interested in obtaining higher education.

Applicants must be a graduating senior from Valencia, Belen, Los Lunas, Infinity or Century high schools, or School of Dreams Academy, pursuing an undergraduate level degree (any major acceptable). Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Provide an essay/personal statement describing your educational and career goals and how this scholarship will help you achieve those goals. Applications are available at respective schools and at the Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts, 251 Main St., Los Lunas. The deadline is April 30, 2024.
