Quilting presentation

Stitching fabric and padding together, a process commonly known as quilting, may date as far back as 3,400 BCE. The Valencia County Historical Society is sponsoring a pre-recorded lecture on quilting by local master quilter Roberta Scott.
The presentation will be available on the Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts Facebook page on Wednesday, Dec. 8.
It will feature examples of several unique quilts by Valencia County quilters, and will discuss techniques and local resources for all levels of quilting expertise. Everyone who is interested in quilting is encouraged to log on to this fascinating presentation.
