Los Lunas junior guard Jalin Holland, in white, was named to the 5A All-State basketball first team for a third straight time.

A Tiger, an Eagle and a Jaguar each received All-State recognition in basketball by the New Mexico High School Coaches Association.   

Belen senior guard Jordi Rojo, No. 0, earned 4A All-State basketball honorable mention status.

For the third straight year, Los Lunas junior guard Jalin Holland has been named First Team All-State. Holland averaged 25.4 points and eight rebounds per game while leading the Tigers into the 5A quarterfinals.  

Valencia junior guard Jadyn Montoya, No. 2, was selected honorable mention for the 4A All-State basketball team.

In 4A boys, Belen senior guard Jordi Rojo was an honorable mention choice. Rojo topped the Eagles in scoring (13.7) and assists (4-0).   

Valencia was represented on the girls’ All-State squad by Jadyn Montoya, who was selected honorable mention in 4A. The Jaguars’ junior guard finished among the top scorers in the state at nearly 21 points per contest.
