Eugene “Gene” Martin Ball, age 71, a resident of Las Cruces, N.M., formerly of Belen, passed away on March 22, 2024.

He is preceded by his mother, Carmen Ball Garcia; and stepfather, Charlie Garcia, of Belen.
He is survived by sisters, Connie Ball Weave and Linda Ball, of Texas; daughter, Erin Elliott; niece, Shareene Weaver Coffman; nephew, Randy Weaver (Kelly); and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place, services will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Belen Cemetery.
