Grace Poster, age 88, a resident of Rio Communities, passed away on April 11, 2024.
Grace was born to Philip and Marie D’Tomaso in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She moved to New Mexico in 1974, and became a bookkeeper until her retirement. She was a Catholic, who was devoted to St. Jude and her Italian heritage.
That Italian heritage spilled over into her kitchen, making her an excellent Italian cook! She loved to feed people!
Grace had many joys — elephants, playing rummikub, word search puzzles, listening to Neil Diamond, Barbara Streisand and, of course, Frank Sinatra.
Grace is preceded in passing by her parents, her three brothers and her sister.
Grace is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Deborahrose; as well as many good friends.
Services for Grace will be held on Thursday, April 25, at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. A Rosary will take place at 10:30 a.m., followed by a prayer service at 11 a.m. Grace will then be placed at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
