Two Valencia County men, who were both reported missing on the same day in July, have been located and are deceased.

Jorge Leon, 44, was last seen in Belen on Monday, July 24. He was found two days later, on Wednesday, July 26, on the north end of Harrison Road on Belen’s west mesa, said Valencia County Sheriff’s Office Detective Ben Lankasky.

The Valencia County Sheriff’s Office is awaiting final autopsy results on Leon from the Office of the Medical Investigator, the detective said.

Kevin Daggett, 65, of Los Lunas, was also reported missing on July 24. He was last seen in the area of Highline Street and Los Cerritos Road, in the neighborhood north of Los Lunas High School.

Los Lunas Police Detective Nikki Deanda said Daggett was found on Thursday, July 27, in the same neighborhood at a home under construction on Pinzon Street.

Deanda said Daggett had sustained a severe traumatic brain injury shortly before he was reported missing.

“He left his home on foot. His vehicle was at home, his keys were there and he left his cell phone behind,” Deanda said. “These are very sad circumstances. There was no trauma to his body, no injuries. We are waiting on the toxicology report from OMI.”
