Open house

El Ranchito de los Ninos is inviting the community to a farmhouse Christmas Open House from 6-7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13. This family event will feature hayrides, live holiday music and festive treats provided by The Range Cafe. The event is free and will take place at El Ranchito, 2 Puesta Del Sol, Los Lunas.

Holiday event

Bosque Farms Holiday Shop-Sip & Stroll will be held from 4-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, at The Jerky Store and Giftshop, 335 Bosque Farms Blvd. There will be sharing of spirit of holiday shopping and local vendors.

Santa and more

Santa Claus is Coming to Town and the Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, at the Los Lunas Transportation Center.

Santa will be taking pictures and giving out stockings to all kids in attendance. The tree lighting ceremony will be at 6:30 p.m. There will be free hot chocolate and cotton candy for everyone. There will be food trucks and jumpers for the kids.

Holiday Party

A Family Holiday Party will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Meadow Lake Community Center, 100 Cuero Lane, Meadow Lake. There will be a free meal and small gifts for children, as well as prize drawings for adults.

Balloon Glow

A Balloon Glow, hosted by the Town of Tomé Land Grant, will be held from 6-9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Thome Dominguez Community Center.

Holiday concert

The Albuquerque Concert Band is performing a special holiday concert from 4-5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Los Lunas High School performing arts center. Free admission and open to the public. For information, visit abqband.org.

Santa visit

The public is invited to come and visit Santa Claus at Rio Communities City Hall, 360 Rio Communities Blvd., from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 15. Enjoy some cookies and hot chocolate with Santa and Mrs. Claus; be sure to bring him your Christmas list. This is a free event, fun for children of all ages with some little surprises. This event is sponsored by the Rio Communities Optimist Club.
