Timothy T. Tracy 

1939-2024 

Timothy T. Tracy passed away peacefully at his home on March 16, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born on August 2, 1939, to William Patrick Tracy Sr. and Opha Tracy (Hendrickson) in Greeley, Colo. He was No. 10 of 10 children. He grew up in the small town of Galeton, Colo., graduating from Galeton High School in 1957.  

His stories were endless, sharing his experiences and adventure with friends and family. He married his high school sweetheart, Kathleen Sebald (deceased) and had two children: Timothy M. Tracy, who resides in Cheyenne, Wyo. with his wife, Sarah, and Tammy Pressnall who resides in Albuquerque with her husband, Tim. His loving family, including two grandchildren, Amy (Ray) of Los Lunas and Andrew (Ashlie) of Merrimack, NH; and three great-granddaughters, Kathleen (Gabe) of Los Lunas, Molly (Carlos) of Los Lunas, and Samantha (Elijah) of Fort Campbell, Ken. 

The family wishes to thank Road Runner Hospice for their devoted assistance in Tim’s care.  

Tim and his son were avid fishermen and hunters over the years. Tim was very much involved in his children’s, grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s activities: 4-H, skiing and fishing trips, and girls’ middle-school and high school sports. He continued to support girls’ high school basketball and volleyball teams at Los Lunas High School even after his great granddaughters graduated. He was an “adopted” grandfather to many of the team members.  

A “Celebration of Life” is planned later this summer in Colorado at the annual Tracy family reunion.
