The Adult Education Program at the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is seeking prospective students for its free GED preparation courses in English and Spanish.

In addition to offering classes at the campus and throughout the community, the Adult Education Program has a walk-in learning center at the campus. Tutors work with students to assess their skills and place them in the appropriate learning environment.

The Fall 2002 Semester runs from August 19 to December 14 at the campus.

Campus Schedule:

GED: Math and Science, Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in room 101-C in the Learning Resource Center.

GED: Writing and Humanities, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in room 101-C in the Learning Resource Center.

GED: Math, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in room 101-C in the Learning Resource Center.

GED: General Studies, Monday through Thursday from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in room 101-C in the Learning Resource Center.

GED: Writing, Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in room 101-C in the Learning Resource Center.

GED: Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Isleta Education Complex.

GED: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:20 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Moriarty-Torrance Works Main Office.

GED: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mountainair High School.

GED in Spanish: Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the El Cerro Mission Community Center.

GED in Spanish: Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in room 101-C in the Learning Resource Center.

GED in Spanish: Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. at La Promesa Elementary.

English as a second language: Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at La Promesa Elementary.

Advanced English as a second language: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Juan Diego Mission in Meadow Lake.

Beginning English as a second language: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Juan Diego Mission in Meadow Lake.

English as a second language: Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the El Cerro Mission Community Center

Beginning English as a second language: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in room 101-B in the Learning Resource Center.
